Dr. Avhilasha Giri is a licensed Consultant Psychiatrist with an MD in Psychiatry from Maharajgunj Medical Campus, IOM, Tribhuvan University. Her areas of expertise include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and community mental health training through the WHO’s mhGAP program.
She has been actively involved with Various organizations from different government to private institutions. Passionate about improving mental health literacy, Dr. Avhilasha Giri is also trained in psychosocial counseling and is a member of the Nepal Medical Association and Psychiatry Association of Nepal.
